Edna Thompson Oakes, 77, passed away on March 4, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be private at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.  Friends may join the family prior to the service for a time of visitation from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
