Police make arrest in shooting incidents

Suffolk Police have made an arrest related to shooting incidents that happened late Thursday.
Emanuel Antonio Brendelson, age 18, of Suffolk, has been arrested on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and additional charges against the subject are forthcoming, according to a city press release. He is in custody at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
The incidents were reported at 11:48 p.m. in the area of Kensington Boulevard and Squire Reach, according to a city press release. Officers recovered multiple projectiles and determined that several separate occupied residences had been struck, with one being struck multiple times.
In an update late Friday, police said four residences were struck, and one had a projectile enter the residence. There were no injuries.
