Applications for the Drs. L.T. and Margaret Reid Scholarship will be available from April 1-30.

The applications can be picked up at the Metropolitan Church Federal Credit Union, 133 Tynes St., and at the guidance counselors’ offices at Lakeland, Nansemond River and King’s Fork high schools.

The scholarships are based upon need for financial assistance, among other criteria. The applications are available to local graduating seniors only.
