Mrs. Jo Lorraine Scott Hubbard, formerly of Suffolk, transitioned on May 4, 2021 in Decatur, Ga.

While in Salt Lake City, Utah, she met and married Thomas Howard Hubbard Jr. Their children are Thomas Howard Hubbard III and Dr. Holly Lorraine-Ernell Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph H. Scott, Ernell and Leon Davis, and her husband, Thomas.

Jo Lorraine is survived by her children; grandsons, Clarke W. Hubbard and Caleb K. Hubbard, of Decatur, Ga.; sisters, Sandra S. Knight (Jefferson), of Chesapeake; Dr. Joyce G. Davis, of Fairfax; Ernell Leondra Bunch (Charles), of Portsmouth; Vance Faye Davis, of Washington, D.C., sister-in-law, Deloris H. Turner, Detroit, Mich.; nephews, James (Jimmy) Almond, of Woodbridge; Vann L. Davis, of Richmond; nieces, Dr. Aviance S. Lewis, of Suffolk, and Dr. Melanee M. Davis, of Washington, D.C.; aunt, Blondell Scott Hardie, of Portsmouth; uncle, Robert Lee Scott, of Newport News; grand-nephews, Derrick S. Almond, Dominic S. Almond and Devann A. Lewis; and several nieces and nephews through marriage. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives, classmates and friends.
