Two wanted in shooting

Suffolk Police are seeking two suspects related to a shooting in the 300 block of Hunter Street on May 17.
Deasia Eltranek Mizell, 21, of Franklin, is wanted on a charge of conspiracy to commit or incite riot.
Jeremy Lavon Griffin, 27, of Suffolk, is wanted on charges of possession of firearm by convicted felon and discharge firearm in public place. Griffin is also wanted on unrelated charges of possession of firearm by convicted felon, reckless handling of firearm and false police report.
A 29-year-old man was injured in the shooting. Several vehicles and residences were also struck by gunfire during the incident.
The shooting was reported at 5:10 p.m. The victim was driven in a private vehicle to Suffolk Police Precinct 1 at 230 E. Washington St. and transported to the hospital from there.
