Mary Evelyn Duck Johnson, 72, of Suffolk, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur L. Duck and Myrtle G. Williams. She is predeceased by her older brother, Robert “Billy” Duck; older sister, Diane Duval; granddaughter, Kristie Burch; great-granddaughter, Clair Burch; along with several nieces and nephews.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years, Jack H. Johnson; son, Donald Wayne Burch (Tiff); daughter, Paula Ann Johnson; stepdaughter, Vicki Johnson Alheit (Guy); along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20 at CrossPointe Free Will Baptist Church, 2460 Pruden Blvd., with a reception after the service at the church.
