Suffolk Police have identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident that happened Sunday afternoon.

Robert Mitchell Harrell Jr., 60, of Portsmouth, died in the crash on the intersection of Route 17 and Interstate 664.

The crash happened at 2:02 p.m. Sunday and involved a motorcycle and SUV. Harrell was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
