Police investigate shooting into dwelling

Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting into an occupied dwelling incident that occurred in the 1600 block of Freeney Avenue.

The shooting was reported at 4:35 p.m. Saturday, according to a Suffolk Police news release. When units arrived, they found an occupied residence and a vehicle had been struck by gunfire.

No injuries were reported. The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and there is no further information available for release.
