Joseph Stallings to be worship leader at tent revival

Joseph Stallings, of Virginia Beach, along with his team will lead worship all three nights of the Rekindle Virginia Tent Revival.

Stallings has a passion to see all people come into an intimate encounter with Jesus Christ. He has led worship with many ministries such as overseas with Gordon Robertson of CBN and CBN Cares; Catch the Fire; Joy Ministries; Isikabla Ministries. He is the new pastor of IMPACT Church in Chesapeake.

The tent revival, Rekindle Virginia, will take place Oct. 8-10 at Bennett’s Creek Park. The tent revival is open to the public, and will start at 7 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Speakers will be Chief Anne Richardson, of Indian Neck, and Bishop E.W. Jackson, of Chesapeake, on Friday; Bishop Leon Benjamin, of Richmond, on Saturday; and Dr. Peter McLewin, of Norfolk, on Sunday.

Special music for the evening services will be Jack Nield and Will and Deb Gunderson on Friday; The Dunns and Pastor Maria Benjamin on Saturday; and God’s Messenger and Margaret McLewin on Sunday. There will also be praise dancing groups.

There will be live Christian bands and gospel music from 2 to 5:30 p.m on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Luke O’Neal and Christopher Liverman’s band and singers, Three For One, will perform. On Sunday, Rodney Rittenhouse, Gregory Lawrence and Don Davis will perform. Come as a family to sit in the big tent or outside on your own lawn chairs. Two food trucks will be available.

The youth explosion for children in grades kindergarten through 12th will start one hour before the evening service in the park skateboard area.
