Driver Days took place on Oct. 16-17 with a parade, a car show, the Sherri Parker Memorial Poker Run and Bike Show, the StrongWILL Charity Fun Run/Walk, and more. Multiple vendors and visitors filled the streets of Driver for two days of the festival. The StrongWILL event raised $10,080, which will be donated to Hope Center Ministries to complete startup costs needed for a rehabilitation center in Suffolk. A different local organization that works directly with those suffering from substance abuse and addiction receives the proceeds every year, totaling nearly $71,200 since its inception.
