Christ First Church is hosting a special speaker next weekend and wants the community to be a part.

The women’s ministry at Christ First Baptist Church is hosting an evening with Pam Tebow at 6 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Christ First Church Outreach Center, 116 Romans Road.

This special banquet will be a time of fellowship and fun and a chance to speak with Tebow. Ashley Helton and the Christ First Church Worship Team will also be in attendance to provide music.

“We hope people can learn that they can trust God and when they put their trust in Him, He will do things never done before,” said Christopher Vaughan, youth pastor at Christ First Church. “That is a big part of Pam Tebow’s story.”

Christ First Church invites a guest speaker each month during its Sunday morning worship service. Tebow will speak the following morning during the 10:30 a.m. service on Oct. 31 to share her story of God’s faithfulness.

During the service, Tebow will share her story about her difficult pregnancy and how the doctors urged her to pursue an abortion for her health. Instead, she prayed and put her faith in God. She then gave birth to NFL star Tim Tebow, who has been able to use his platform to share his faith.

At the end of the service will be a special offering for local crisis pregnancy centers that give support to women looking for options when faced with an unplanned pregnancy.

“The passion of our church is to meet the needs of our community, and part of that need is helping those with crisis pregnancies,” said Vaughan.

Tickets for the dinner are $15. The organizers would like folks to get their tickets as soon as possible to get an accurate headcount for the caterer. To purchase tickets, visit tinyurl.com/PamTebow2021.
