To the editor:

On behalf of the executive board for the Suffolk Professional Fire Fighters, Local 2801, we send this letter to show our support and do hereby endorse Narendra R. Pleas for the office of Commonwealth’s Attorney, City of Suffolk. It is felt that her experience from working as a prosecutor within the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for the city of Suffolk for more than eight years and her current work with the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for the city of Norfolk provides valued knowledge, skills and abilities to manage the day to day operations and uphold the oath and duties as the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the city of Suffolk.

Furthermore, her consistent support for public safety, as she herself holds a certification for Emergency Medical Technician — Advanced, and maintains her current dedicated service with the Western Tidewater Medical Reserve Corps, is valued. Her desire to work with public safety by creating programs that are conducive to the daily lives of our citizens is demonstrated through her extensive volunteer hours that she gives to the city of Suffolk. Concentrating on the mental health needs by implementing special programs that include a mental health court and making Suffolk a healthy and green city as we work together to help clean up Suffolk through recycling and enforcement is also valued; her dedication to serve is endless.
