Phillip E. Mosley Sr., 78, of Suffolk, passed away on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021. He was the son of the late William and Alma Mosley. He is also preceded in death by his sons, Phillip E. Mosley, Jr. and Brian Carr.

Phillip loved to hunt and fish. He also was an active member of Calvary Baptist Missionary Church.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marion Paige Mosley; daughters, Michelle Mosley and Phyllis Mauro; sons, Matthew Scott Carr and Daniel Lee Carr (Melissa Gayle); 13 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at Holly Lawn Cemetery, 1525 N. Main St., with a memorial service and reception to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Missionary Church, 545 Turlington Road. Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St.
