Joseph Earl Groves, of Surry County, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 9, 2021, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Rawls officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory prior to the service.
