Two sought in breaking and entering

Suffolk Police are investigating a breaking and entering that happened Sunday morning.

According to a city press release, the breaking and entering happened at 2:37 a.m. at Raceway in the 1200 block of Portsmouth Boulevard.

Officers were dispatched to the scene in reference to a breaking and entering alarm call, the press release stated. Officers found the front door of the business had been damaged and accessed by two individuals who took a box of lottery tickets from inside the building. The suspects fled the scene in a red sedan with a white hood and black front bumper.

The suspects are described as two Black males, one wearing a black Adidas track suit with a white stripe down the side, white shoes, white gloves and a mask and the other was wearing a black outfit with a black hoodie with gray on the inside of the hood and a black mask.

The incident remains under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
