Maintenance to close two railroad crossings

Upcoming maintenance and repair work will have two railroad crossings on busy streets closed for a few days later this month.
Suffolk Public Works Traffic Engineering announced the closures on Wednesday. CSX Transportation will be conducting the maintenance and repairs.
The crossing on North Main Street between Prentis Street and Finney Avenue, and the crossing on West Constance Road between Prentis Street and Second Avenue, will be the ones affected. The work is expected to start on Jan. 24 and last about three to five days.
