Suffolk Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the 2500 block of Wilroy Road on Jan. 23.

An officer responded to Sentara Obici Hospital shortly after 5 p.m., as the victim was transported by private vehicle to that location due his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.

The victim, Charles Vaughan, 54, of Suffolk, said he had been stabbed by a known individual earlier that day, around 7 a.m. following a verbal altercation.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
