Elder George Ernest Elder, 88, passed away on Friday, Feb. 18, at his residence. A visitation will take place from 3 until 6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at noon on Saturday, Feb. 26, at New Mt. Joy FFLM Church and he will be laid to rest at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery.
