Suspects wanted in car theft

The Suffolk Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two males involved in the theft of a car at the 7-Eleven store in the 800 block of West Washington Street around 8:45 p.m. on February 28.
The victim had left the car running and unlocked when he went into the store. Security video shows two males exit the store and steal the vehicle, according to a city press release.
One was described as having a dark beard, wearing black blue jeans, black boots and carrying a black backpack and the other as wearing a black hoodie, black vest, jeans and tan boots.
The vehicle is a 2002 Blue Ford Taurus, with faded paint on the hood and a gray primer spot on the right rear door. The vehicle’s Virginia license plate number is VXE1377.
