College Drive shooting investigated

Suffolk police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting in the 6200 block of College Drive.
The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said in a news release.
Police did not specify the location, but that section of College Drive in North Suffolk is lined with fast-food restaurants and fronts Harbour View East shopping center.
The Suffolk 911 Center received a call at 11:14 p.m. about a person being shot. The victim was treated on scene by Suffolk Fire and Rescue, then transported to a hospital.
