Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s lacrosse team held on to its No. 2 ranking in the state after a recent 15-9 win over Saints Peter & Paul High School.
The Saints were led by David Russell with four goals and three assists. Nathan Dowd chipped in with three goals and four assists. Cooper Goss scored five goals and added one assist.
On Thursday, NSA edged Benedictine 13-11.
Russell scored five goals and had an assist. Max Russell made 19 saves in the goal.
NSA is ranked second statewide in Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II.
