The Suffolk News-Herald wants to know which local places, faces, businesses and services our readers think are the best in town.

Nominations for the 2022 Locals Choice ballot are underway at https://www.suffolknewsherald.com/contests/locals-choice-2022/

One lucky reader, drawn randomly from all who make nominations, will win a $100 gift card.

Through May 31 at 11:59 p.m., readers are urged to nominate their favorites in each category. Nominations can be made up to once per day per category.

Once the nomination round is over, the top three to five nominees (unless there is a tie) with the most nominations in each category will automatically advance to the voting round and will appear on the 2022 Locals Choice ballot this summer.

Check out the top nominees who advanced to the ballot in our 2022 Voting Round special section of the Suffolk News-Herald and begin voting online on Wednesday, July 20.

The voting round will end on Aug. 15 at 11:59 p.m. and Gold, Silver and Finalists will be announced in a special Winner’s Circle section on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
