Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will begin its quest for a state lacrosse championship on Tuesday.
The Saints, ranked No. 1 in Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II, will host Steward School in the first round of the state tournament. Admission will be $6 for spectators age 7 and older.
As the tournament’s top seed, NSA will have homefield advantage throughout. A win Tuesday would put the Saints in Thursday’s semifinals against the winner of the Trinity School at Meadow View vs. Highland first-round game. The championship game is next Saturday.
