Nansemond River High School placed two players on the Virginia High School League Class 5 all-state softball first team.

Senior first baseman Abby Lockhart and sophomore second baseman Camdyn Stuffel earned the honor.

NRHS also placed two players on the all-state second team: junior pitcher Cierra Gawryluk and senior Shelby Knaak as an at-large choice.
