Lynn Edward Smith, 92, of Blythewood Lane, transitioned Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Hampton VA Medical Center. He was born Jan. 17, 1930, in Suffolk, to the late James and Lenora Smith of Suffolk.
After entering the Army where he was a World War II Veteran he relocated to Washington, D.C.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Perlean Bynum and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 15, at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
