Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s field hockey team notched two wins this week.

On Thursday, NSA edged The Covenant School of Charlottesville 3-2. Zita VonBraunmuehl had two goals for the winners, and Karen Mugaisi had the third. NSA goalie Kate Moores had nine saves.

On Wednesday, NSA blanked Williamsburg Christian 7-0. Mugaisi led the way with three goals and one assist, while VonBraunmuehl had two goals and three assists. Page Henry added a goal and an assist, and Jone Cobos had a goal.
