Rose Crocker Heffington, 90, of Suffolk passed away on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022. She was born to the late James and Edith Crocker. She also is predeceased by her husband, Milton F. Heffington.

She is survived by her only son, James T. Heffington, “Jim.” She was born on July 19, 1932, and at 90 years old, lived a long and happy life. Even though she is in a better place, she will be greatly missed. “I will always love you, Mom.”

A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Mugsy Wilkins and Pastor Rob Slingluff, is to be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at R.W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St. Burial follows at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. the night prior at the funeral home. Online condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
