Water service to be interrupted for Holland Road businesses

Working on behalf of the Suffolk Department of Public Works, a contractor is set to perform water main relocation work along the U.S. 58/Holland Road corridor starting on Sunday, Sept. 18.
In a news release, city officials said the work requires water service interruption that is anticipated to run from 10 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18, to about 5 a.m., Monday, Sept. 19. This work is part of the U.S. 58/Holland Road widening project that is currently underway.
The news release states that nine commercial business addresses can expect their water service to be interrupted during the period. These include:
Water service will be affected at the below commercial business addresses along Holland Road during the noted time period: 1500 Holland Rd., 1508 Holland Rd.,
1514 Holland Rd., 1517 Holland Rd., 1519 Holland Rd., 1523 Holland Rd., 1524 Holland Rd., 1526 Holland Rd. and 1549 Holland Rd.
