2 Parks and Recreation locations closed due to water service interruption

Two Suffolk Parks and Recreation Department locations are closed Tuesday due to a disruption in water services.

In a news release Tuesday morning, parks and rec officials said their offices at the city Administration Building and the East Suffolk Recreation Center, located at 134 and 138 S. 6th St. respectively, are closed Tuesday, Oct. 18 due to the lack of water service.

Officials said both locations are closed for the remainder of Tuesday.

Residents can call the Curtis Milteer Recreation Center at 757-514-7100 for information on programs or visit the department’s website www.suffolkva.us/266/Park-Recreation to register for programs.
