City Council has several items to consider on its agenda for its Wednesday, Nov. 2 meeting.
Council will review an ordinance that would authorize the city manager to accept a deed open-space easement over the common passive open-space within Phase 2 of the Cluster Subdivision Plat for Meadows Landing.
Alongside this action, the agenda shows two additional motions to be considered.
Council will determine whether to set a public hearing for Nov. 16 to receive public comment on an ordinance authorizing the acquisition of real property in fee simple and /or temporary easements, either by agreement or condemnation, for the Pittmantown Road (Rte. 668) over Mill Swamp Bridge replacement.
Additionally, members will decide if they would like to hold a work session at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16 in advance of that regular meeting.
There are two items of interest on this meeting’s consent agenda.
The first is an ordinance to accept and appropriate funds from the Commonwealth of Virginia Technology Trust Fund, while the other is an ordinance to accept and appropriate funds donated to the city of Suffolk Department of Parks and Recreation.
