Suffolk Police investigate Sunday armed robbery

Suffolk Police are investigating a Sunday afternoon armed robbery at the Happy Shopper/Citgo, 401 Carolina Rd.
Witnesses on scene reported that two males armed with handguns and wearing masks entered the store and demanded money from the cash register, according to a police department news release. Suffolk 911 Center received the call in reference to the armed robbery around 5:41 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13.
Police said an undisclosed amount of money was taken. There were no reported injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and there is no further information available for release.
