Domestic-related shooting early Friday leaves one dead

Suffolk Police are investigating a domestic-related shooting that left one man dead early Friday morning.

The Suffolk 911 Center received a call at about 3:32 a.m., Friday, Nov. 18 from an adult female citizen advising that an adult male had been shot at the residence located in the 2500 block of E. Washington Street.  

When police arrived at the residence,  they found an adult male, Demarcus Anderson, 28, inside the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said in a news release.

Anderson was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

A suspect has not been identified at this time. The investigation remains ongoing and there is no further information is available for release.
