A Suffolk man died in a single-vehicle crash Monday.

The single occupant in the vehicle, Kevin Cotton, 24, died in the crash on Portsmouth Boulevard at Virginia Ham Drive, according to a Suffolk Police news release.

The roadway was shut down for the investigation to occur.
