Police investigate armed robbery at downtown 7-Eleven

Suffolk Police are investigating a commercial armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located in the 800 block of W. Washington Street.

Police said the suspect entered the store wearing a mask, produced a handgun and demanded money at 12:03 p.m. Sunday. The suspect obtained an unknown amount of money then fled the scene on foot.  There were no reported injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and there is no further information available for release.
