Police investigate Ding Wing armed robbery

Suffolk Police are investigating a Sunday, Dec. 4 armed robbery at the Ding Wing convenience store, located in the 600 block of E. Washington St.
Officers responded to the scene for a report of an armed robbery by an unknown male subject that entered the store at 9:58 p.m., displayed a firearm and demanded money from the register, police said in a
The offender was wearing all black clothing and white shoes. The offender then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money in the direction of Beech Street. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing at this time and there is no further information available for release.
