Our beloved Adelaide Montgomery, 92, of Suffolk, was called home from labor to reward on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at Obici Memorial Hospital. She is the wife of the late Fred Montgomery of Homestead, Pennsylvania, and daughter of the late Edward W. Biggs and Adelaide Joyner Biggs. Family and friends are to gather in a celebration of life in her honor at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at East End Baptist Church, 1056 Portsmouth Blvd. The viewing begins at 10:30 a.m. Mrs. Adelaide Montgomery is being laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
