Master Sgt. Paul Calvin Gillis, USA (Ret.), of Woodland Trail, died suddenly Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022. He is husband of D. Zenobia Gillis and loving father of Ramona A. Gillis and Rolanda A. Scriven.

A celebration of Paul’s life is at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 19, at New Hope Baptist Church, 4260 Pughsville Road. The family receives friends from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the church. Interment with full military honors follows at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
