Marion L. Jones, 84, passed away on Jan. 15, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Sherman and Carrie Luke. She is predeceased by her husband, Milton C. Jones and two sisters, Margaret Birkner and Merle Lee.

Mrs. Jones was a very loving mother and was caring and giving. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Wayne Jones Sr. (Susan) of Suffolk, Billy Jones Sr. and life partner Delores, Larry Jones and life partner Cindy of Warverly and Nancy Rimasse (Rudy) of Suffolk; her grandchildren, Jimmy, Milton and Billy Barnes, Justin Danforth, Billy Jr., Gracie Jones and Wayne Jones Jr.; her 10 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, MJ, Liam, Kaylee, Tah-Naeja, Avery, Woody, Nani and Gregg and her great-grandchildren, Koda, Loki and Levi.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 6952 Old Myrtle Road. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk Chapel is serving the family. Condolences may be made to the family online at RWBakerFH.com.
