Suffolk Parks and Recreation hosts the League of Young Entrepreneurs for a six-week program from Jan. 28 to Feb. 28.

The event is for individuals ages 13 to 17 and takes place every Tuesday from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the East Suffolk Recreation Center, 138 S. 6th St.

This unique and educational program will focus on the dynamics of developing business plans, marketing strategies and financial literacy. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the tools and methods of creating and owning a successful business from guest speakers and local entrepreneurs. The program also includes a field trip, t-shirts and refreshments.

Registration is required and is free with an active Youth and Teens membership. Registration is open and can be completed online through CivicRec or in person at East Suffolk Recreation Center.
