Make your voice heard at the Winter 2023 Community Engagement Sessions

City of Suffolk Planning Department begins its Winter 2023 Community Engagement Sessions on its Suffolk 2045 comprehensive plan update.

Topics and issues to be discussed range from residential and commercial development, mitigating traffic congestion, revitalizing the downtown area and maintaining the city’s rural heritage.

“The comprehensive plan effort is a very important project that needs to capture the many voices and the diverse lifestyles of our citizens,” said Deputy City Manager Kevin Hughes.“In order to do that, efforts like these listening sessions throughout the City are critical. We hope to see strong participation from our citizens to ensure that as many people as possible participate in the comprehensive plan process.”
