The Suffolk Public Schools website redesign is nearly complete and officials expect the new look will launch Monday, Jan. 30.

The school’s communications and community engagement team has been working with school website platform Finalsite to provide substantial changes to the site. The redesign affects all SPS 21 divisions of SPS.

The site redesign will have updated navigation channels to provide easier access to information on the school departments, academics, district news, and more. The site will also be more mobile responsive, making it easier to navigate on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, according to a video released by SPS. The site also has 50 language translations provided by Google Translate and real-time social media feed updates.

“Suffolk Public Schools is excited to launch our newly redesigned SPS division and school websites that better reflect our school community,” Communications and Community Engagement Officer Anthonette Ward-Dickens said. “The site’s updated navigation channels allow students, staff, and parents to find information quickly and efficiently. Content pages are more engaging, giving visitors a better insight into academic programs and offerings.”
