Motorists traveling on U.S. 58 Holland Road could experience lane closures and possible delays Thursday.

Contractors will be installing new pavement markings through the three-mile work zone from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9

New stripes and reflectors will be installed to improve road safety at night and during inclement weather.  This is the first opportunity to make these improvements due to warmer and drier weather.

Suffolk officials said motorists can expect delays as mobile lane closures are required to complete the work. This work is weather dependent.
