The Suffolk Public Library’s After School Snack Program is up and running through the end of the 2023 Suffolk Public Schools year.
The program operates out of the Morgan Memorial Library location, offering 10 free after-school snacks a day for children under 18. All snacks are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Children will only have to approach the front desk and ask an employee for assistance. Identification is not needed for them to receive a snack, and while they eat, they are invited to explore, create and play at the Morgan Memorial Library.
The Suffolk Public Library After School Snack Program began Feb. 1 and ends June 15. It runs from 3:30-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
All Suffolk Public Library classes, programs and events are free and open to the public. For other community resources, visit www.suffolkpubliclibrary.com/ResourceGuide.
Morgan Memorial Library is located at 443 West Washington Street. North Suffolk Library is located at 2000 Bennetts Creek Park Road.
