Nansemond River Preservation Alliance is seeking volunteers for Saturday morning at its Native Shrub and Tree Conservation Demonstration Project
that includes a walking trail along the Nansemond River.
NRPA needs volunteers to help with pruning and reconfiguring the walking path from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Sleepy Hole Park near the pier,
4616 Sleepy Hole Rd. Those with pruning shears, weed-wackers, shovels or hoes are encouraged to bring them to the event.
Volunteers must be age 10 and older.
