Henderson named to fall MTSU 2022 dean’s list

 

Local scholar Kirsten Henderson of Suffolk is among more than 5,920 Middle Tennessee State University students recognized on the latest dean’s list for academic achievements during the fall 2022 semester

To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.

Henderson is currently majoring in Textiles Merchandising Design at the Murfreesboro university.

Middle Tennessee State University is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

 

15 Suffolk students named to UMGC dean’s list

 

Fifteen people from Suffolk are among the more than 9,800 University of Maryland Global Campus students named to the fall semester dean’s list. 

The students from Suffolk on the UMGC dean’s list are Sean Boyd, Tyrell Colbert, Dominique Devezin, Homer Green, Benjamin Justice, Joshua Koerth, Tomorrow Lake, Xavier Luterman, Melissa McCammon, Joseph McClelland, Tyler Nist, Michael Rodriguez, Alfredo Sosa, Lindsey Walton and Isaiah Waters.

To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

 

Biando named to UM fall 2022 honor roll

Lauren Biando, of Suffolk, was named to the University of Mississippi’s fall 2022 honor roll lists.

Biando was named to the chancellor’s honor roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.75-4.00.

“The remarkable students achieving chancellor’s honor roll are among the best and brightest at the University of Mississippi,” said Chancellor Glenn Boyce. “I commend them for their hard work and dedication resulting in their outstanding academic achievements and this well-deserved recognition.”

In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
