Rufus Towns Sr. transitioned from this life on Thursday, April 6, 2023. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, at Diamond Grove Baptist Church.  Viewing took place from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at Shivers Funeral Chapel.
