Bruce R. Franklin Sr., 73, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023. He was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Arthur and Helene Franklin. He is predeceased by his brothers, Chet Franklin and Arthur Franklin and sister, Edna Franklin.

Bruce served in the U.S. Navy and was a disabled Veteran. He was a former Cub Scout Leader and Leader for Boy Scout Troop 1. He retired from the Federal Government after 30 years of service. Bruce was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ann O’Keefe and his children, Bruce R. Franklin Jr., Joel R. Franklin, Brian A. Franklin (Krista White) and Brandon T. Franklin (Megan Lunning), and his dog, Luna.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk Chapel is serving the family. Online condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
