Choral Fest concert event is canceled

Suffolk Center for the Cultural Arts announced Tuesday that its Spring Choral Fest event that had been set for Sunday is canceled.

The Chowan University Singers, the premier touring choral ensemble of Chowan University, were to perform at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 23.

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the choir is not able to come to Suffolk.
