Margaret Paige Tomlin, 84, of Suffolk passed away on Friday, April 29, 2023. She is the daughter of the late Staley and Cleo Parker. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Mills T. Tomlin Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Pamela Burke and Sheila Piland; sons, Kenneth Tomlin (Angela), Mills Tomlin Jr. (Claudia), Harvey Tomlin and Merrell Tomlin (Vicki); 13 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; brother, Patrick Parker and best friend and chosen sister, Lucy Jackson.

Paige had a love for not only her family but also people, children and God. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Suffolk for over 50 years. She enjoyed being a part of the Ladies New Hope Bible Class. She loved her work as a hairstylist and enjoyed knowing her clients as friends. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels, The Suffolk Art League and Suffolk Antique shows.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at R.W. Baker & Co. Downtown Suffolk Chapel, 509 W. Washington St. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Online condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
