Violent offenses among April Grand Jury indictments

Among indictments handed down by the Suffolk Circuit Court Grand Jury April 26 are charges of felony manslaughter, shooting/throwing into an occupied building, hit and run, and first-degree murder.

The Grand Jury indicted 31 people on a total of 61 counts.

Jakiya Artis — Driving while revoked second-plus offense, fourth driving while intoxicated within 10 years and elude/disregard police

Tyriece Lamon Bazemore — Possession with intent to distribute marijuana 1 ounce-5 pounds

Antonio McKinley Brown — Possession of schedule I or II drugs

Manuel Rey Callanan — Burglary unarmed misdemeanor intent-capias felony, interfere with property rights-capias misdemeanor and trespassing after forbidden-capias misdemeanor

Antonio Ryshawn Chapman — Violation of a protective order-capias misdemeanor (seven counts), obstructing/resisting arrest without force-capias misdemeanor, obstructing/resisting arrest with threat/force-capias misdemeanor, stalking with fear of death/assault-capias misdemeanor and malicious shooting/throwing into an occupied building-capias felony (all counts direct indictments)

Westley James Clear — Assault and battery on a law enforcement officer (three counts)

Donovan Louis Davis — False statement on criminal history consent

Joshua Dunlap — Assault and battery on a law enforcement officer

Neashel Edwards — Attempt to obtain money by false pretenses

Chavenia Jay’tene Gaymon — Felony homicide-capias felony, possession with intent to manufacture/etc. a controlled substance-capias felony (two counts) (all counts direct indictments

Marcus Aaron Hall — Grand larceny and forgery (two counts)

Christopher John Herloski — Possession of schedule I or II drugs

Andre Demetrius Kearney — Manufacturing/distributing schedule I/II drugs second offense-capias felony (six counts) (all counts direct indictments)

Langley Mason Lippard — Possession of schedule I or II drugs

Maleek Sailuan Meyers — First degree murder

Wayne Antonio Morris — Obstructing/resisting arrest without force-capias misdemeanor and disorderly conduct-capias misdemeanor (all counts direct indictments)

E ZZ Niles II — Driving while intoxicated without a license multiple convictions and driving while intoxicated-drugs third offense within five years

Lazavea Mae Parker — Assault on a law enforcement officer

Bernard Ginwood Rawlings — False statement on a criminal history consent
